Learning to Hope (poem by me)

I thought hope was too emotive,
I noticed how much time it wasted,
Worse yet—when it fails, it’s corrosive,
But hope is something God created,
To be risked and to be tasted,
I put my faith in You, oh Lord,
To show my heart the unexplored.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love… 1 Corinthians 13:13
