God of gods (poem by me)

Oh, Atlas, take the world off your shoulders,
A god need not buckle under such a burden,
Jehovah places His feet upon the globe,
And suspends the earth over nothing.

Poseidon, you stir up the seas with your moodiness,
But my God causes the storm to be still,
Jehovah has an unwavering love,
and His being is unchangeable.

Hades, you rule the dead,
My God is a God of the living,
You kidnapped your wife, Persephone,
My Lord's bride, the church, comes to Him willingly.

Why should I speak to those gods as if they were real?
They can do us no harm or good,
A character in a book—someone's made-up dream,
The Lord is the true God—mankind's eternal King.

"For the LORD your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords...." -Deuteronomy 10:17
