Life on the Inside (poem by me)

I crawled inside myself,
and remained hidden there,
You were sitting at your desk,
I was inside myself,
You were at the water cooler,
I was inside myself,
“Deliver me!” I silently screamed,
But you didn’t hear or see,
You enjoyed life on the outside,
While I lived inside myself.
