Necromancy (blog by me)

Necromancy can be defined as communicating with the dead. It is forbidden in the Bible (see Leviticus 19:31 and Deuteronomy 18:9-12). In modern times, we might call a professional necromancer a medium. However, there are lots of people who attempt to contact the dead for good and evil reasons. The Bible does not excuse the practice based on intent. It simply and clearly forbids the practice. Even if the psychic or medium refers to God or has a picture of Jesus on the wall or calls himself or herself a Christian, please heed the warning to stay far from every medium.

Aside from the practice being forbidden, there is no guarantee that the medium will be able to contact the spirit of your loved one. In fact, it is far more likely that the spirit contact will likely be an evil spirit pretending to be your loved one. Evil spirits can have personal knowledge about your family simply by having existed in your family for generations through generational sin patterns.

If you have been trying to communicate with the dead by yourself or through a medium, it is important to confess and repent right now. Please join me in prayer: Lord, Forgive me for communicating with the dead. I break all contact with the dead and evil spirits right now in the Name of Jesus Christ. Deliver me from all evil for You are an awesome and Holy God. In Christ’s Name, Amen. I’m sure you miss your loved one, but God is still your best choice for both companionship and guidance in this life since He is alive for eternity, loving beyond all others, all-knowing and all-powerful. God bless!

Your Time is Up (poem by me)

Tic-tock, tic-tock, your time is up,
God will judge your every deed,
The game is over, drink the cup.

Silence now, don’t interrupt,
Not the time to beg or plead,
Tic-tock, tic-tock, your time is up.

Was your life righteous or corrupt?
In the gospel, have you believed?
The game is over, drink from the death cup.

Does Jesus have your trust?
Or has Satan successfully deceived?
Tic-tock, tic-tock, your time is up.

Were you humble or puffed up?
Were you the fertile seed or a stubborn weed?
The game is over, drink from the death cup.

Eternal destinies are not decided by luck,
Choose Christ today before you’re buried,
Tic-tock, tic-tock, your time is up,
The game is over, drink from the death cup.

” For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16

This lifetime is the time given to make the choice between good and evil, between heaven and hell, between God or Satan. Have you chosen Christ to be your Savior?
