Your Time is Up (poem by me)

Tic-tock, tic-tock, your time is up,
God will judge your every deed,
The game is over, drink the cup.

Silence now, don’t interrupt,
Not the time to beg or plead,
Tic-tock, tic-tock, your time is up.

Was your life righteous or corrupt?
In the gospel, have you believed?
The game is over, drink from the death cup.

Does Jesus have your trust?
Or has Satan successfully deceived?
Tic-tock, tic-tock, your time is up.

Were you humble or puffed up?
Were you the fertile seed or a stubborn weed?
The game is over, drink from the death cup.

Eternal destinies are not decided by luck,
Choose Christ today before you’re buried,
Tic-tock, tic-tock, your time is up,
The game is over, drink from the death cup.

” For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16

This lifetime is the time given to make the choice between good and evil, between heaven and hell, between God or Satan. Have you chosen Christ to be your Savior?

Yet to Come (poem by me)

What if Grandma’s baking was the best smell ever?
What if baby skin is the softest matter we’ll caress?
What if the first kiss is the last time our hearts’ll flutter?
If this world is all there is for us, then there’s nothing else left.

But if heaven exists, then the best is yet to come,
We have never felt a cloud tuck us in at night,
We still haven’t smelled truly fragrant blossoms!
We haven’t felt the unmitigated love of Christ.

Surely the Lord is there waiting for you and me,
He holds an unimaginable joy for us in eternity.

“…’no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind has known.’ God has prepared these things for those who love him.” 1Corinthians 2:9 (NIRV)

If Life is Kind (poem by me)

If life is kind to you…
you will see you are a only a breath
your life is merely a shadow
you are a vanishing mist
your flesh is withering grass.

Life treated me kindly…
for I saw I was a gust of wind
then the Lord breathed into me
now my spirit lives immortally,
and my heart is set on eternity.
