Jesus sits on a cloud ready to reap,
Not just one soul, but the whole world,
His sickle separates tares from wheat,
The time is right for justice to unfurl.

Here…
water is plentiful and cheap,
When I’m thirsty for a drink,
It flows freely into my sink,
Seems impossible to deplete!
There…
water is hard to buy and sell,
When they’re thirsty for a sip,
It’s a dangerous eight-mile trip,
Their need—a freshwater well.
We would be remiss,
to look and not to see,
this need to be a friend,
Jesus said this:
“He who drinks of me
will never thirst again.”

Beseech His Grace (poem by me)
The nations who pine after riches
are stricken with destitution;
Countries who lost their hope
have children in prostitution;
Nations with proud heritages
are taunted by afflictions;
Those who proclaim they are free
are tethered by addictions.
Who among men will plead their case?
Let those who call on God beseech His grace.
